New vehicles thanks to Mark Cromie Holden

The Northland Rescue Helicopter (NRH) has some solid ground support with Mark Cromie Holden supplying two new vehicles for the rescue service to use.

A new Holden Colorado 4X4 ute and Holden Barina will be used by the on-duty pilots for day to day activity. The Colorado will also be used by the engineers for freighting urgent helicopter parts to and from Auckland.

Mark Cromie says the company, which is a proud supporter of the local Northland community, supplied the new vehicles to provide on ground support for the NRH team.

“You sometimes forget the small yet essential things that keep an organisation like the Northland Rescue Helicopter operating and sponsoring these vehicles is our way of supporting the amazing life-saving work these guys do in the community,” he says.

Northland Rescue Helicopter Chairman Paul Ahlers says along with its fundraising efforts it is sponsorship offerings like this that help keep the helicopters in the air and flying rescue missions.

“Without the generosity of people like Mark and his team we wouldn’t be able to continue the work that we do in the Northland region and it means we can get on with doing what we do best – and that’s saving peoples’ lives.”
