If you’re a farmer, we want your help! Support us by donating a weaner bull calf this year, and rest easy knowing we’ll support you when it matters most.

You may be thinking “how can I donate a calf?” Well, we don’t actually want you to send us a real live calf. Simply hold on to one of your bull calves, and then contribute the proceeds when it is sold.

Now that the calving season has begun, PGG Wrightson have jumped on board to make it easy for you to support us. If you would like to sell  through them they will waive their fees, help you with the paperwork and forward the proceeds to NEST.

All proceeds from the calf will go towards keeping our emergency rescue helicopters in the air, supplying air ambulance services, medical flights and search and rescue to Northland…you never know when you may need our help!

You can get in touch with the Northland Livestock Manager Bernie McGahan or one of the individual saleyards in Kaikohe, Kauri, Dargaville and Wellsford to inform them of what stock is to be donated to NEST. OR simply fill out the form below and we will be in touch come mid-October to arrange payment.

Make a pledge to Northland’s dedicated air ambulance service and help us save lives of Northlanders long into the future. Your bequest will ensure we continue to service the region effectively and cope with the growing demands in Northland.

How to make a bequest

The easiest way to make a bequest is through an addition to your will. Your solicitor should be able to assist you with this.

There are a number of ways you can make a bequest. These include:

  • designating a specific figure
  • providing a percentage or the balance of your estate
  • gifting a specific asset (including property)

Any funds you gift us will help us continue to provide an essential life-saving air ambulance service for Northlanders. We invite you to share your plans with us so we can thank you personally, acknowledging your gift to us during your lifetime.

We are here to help

Making a bequest is a very personal decision, and one that you need to make for yourself. However, we are here to walk you through your options if you would like some guidance.

Please email us if you would like to discuss leaving a bequest to NEST.  Any enquiries will be handled in the strictest confidence.
